Going ape in Japan: LittleBigPlanet pre-order has Ape Escape Sackboy freebie |

Over at Japan, the Ape Escape monkeys are invading LittleBigPlanet. Japanese gamers who pre-order a copy of the game get a Sackboy keychain (it looks like one of those dangly things you can attach to your mobile phone) and more importantly, a Piposaru-costumed Sackboy complete with yellow shorts and helmet!
The Piposaru Sackboy comes as a redeem code which can be activated into the game via the PlayStation Network. There's no indication yet if the monkeyboys will head for other regions though.
So now, a new SackBoy is introduced in the LittleBigPlanet family: so many Sackboys, so little time! There's a Kratos Sackboy and a Nariko Sackgirl - then we see Snake and Jack Skellington Sephiroth too. It's like they're turning all of the video game icons we know into Sackboys. What next? A Sackboy-costumed Sackboy? *snicker*
