God of War To Be A Trilogy? |

After almost being shot down before it even gets out of the gates, God of War is starting to prove that it was worth a risk for Sony with the possibility of reaching a third installment. Sony Santa Monica creative director and first God of War director David Jaffe has just hinted that God of War may indeed be a trilogy."As Cory [Barlog, God of War 2 director] and I have said to the press, [God of War 2] is the second act of a bigger story. And when you are making a game, you never really know if the game will turn out good enough to merit another one in the series. But after last week, I can say I am very confident of our chances to be able to complete the GOD OF WAR trilogy. You never know, but that's me just putting it out there," says Jaffe.
If indeed a third God of War game is in the works, will it be safe to assume that it will be for Sony's next gen console? After all, Playstation 3 is set to be launched late this year and it will be pretty much logical. But that's just me -- what do you think? Meanwhile God of War 2 will be out for Playstation 2 in 2007.

but! sony know that ps2 is going to be aroudn a little while longer, and they may have told us they'll sell 5 million ps3's without even a launch lineup, but i reckon they might keep the ps2 and it's massive installed user base happy with a quick gow3 half a year after gow2... it could happen, and it would mean they can still make SOME money, as they're probably looking at their bank accounts and weeping.

ps3 verson should be good . also i can play the ps2 version on my ps3 which would be good.
shadow of the collosas was good but really even though the bosses looked great , theyre oudated graphicsnow tha i have a 360. but that team will definately make a great and original game for he ps3...they truly rock
