God of War III demo hitching a ride on District 9's Blu-ray release |

It seems Sony is pulling out all the stops in order to get the God of War III demo out and into peoples' PS3s. Those who don't want to spring for the God of War Collection just for the demo now have another option.
Sony has announced that the December 29, 2009, Blu-ray release of Neill Blomkamp's District 9 will come with a playable copy of the God of War III demo. They're also sweetening the deal with an exclusive making-of video that can be unlocked after playing through the demo.
While the hardcore are already quite aware of God of War III and Collection, this should prove to be a good way to get the more casual PS3 into the game. Nice way of getting parents to buy it, too. They get a movie, their kids get a game demo.

OR they could just release it on PSN...........
To bad the demo is not for kids though lol
Hmmm, I'm definitely getting the collection for the upscaled graphics. I do think that District 9 is a decent movie too, but I don't think I'll be buying it, even with the demo.
What's aliens got to do with Kratos and the greek God of War?.....
Anyways District 9 was a good movie, bloody interesting movie in fact. But giving it out with the movie? Either its a move to increase sales for the movie, cause the time frame for it is soooooo wrong. Or Sony forgot it had the PS Store.
Why release it on PSN when you can use it as an extra incentive to buy a bunch of sony products....
Even if it didn't have the demo I was still going to get the BR version of this FANTASTIC movie!
I can't wait till Dec 29th 12AM =)
I mean, we payed 25 for the subscription. So if they wanna make it so you buy something first, there's your requirement.
