Great -- no, AWESOME news for God of War fans. Do you guys remember the demo that Sony showed off at E3 and PAX? Yeah, well you won't have to content yourself with watching videos of it anymore. Sony has confirmed that it'll be included in God of War Collection.

God of War Collection bundles remastered versions of the first two God of War games into one PS3-playable Blu-ray disc. Even of you've already played through both games you might still want to get this. The versions included in the Blu-ray collection feature full 1280 x 720 resolution with 2x anti-aliased graphics and run at a sweet 60 FPS. They even have Trophy support.

Anyway. Each copy of the collection will come with a voucher that'll let you download the God of War III demo from the PlayStation Network. God of War Collection comes out this November, which means you'll be slaughtering your enemies for a good four months before God of War III launches in March 2010.

» I'll just wait for GOW3.

I already have God Of War 1 and 2 as well as Chains Of Olympus, and my PS2 GOW games are upscaled to 1080p anyhow on my PS3.

This is amazing!

I hope this does really well, then other companies might think of doing this with other games!

» Silver-Tiger, yeah, but....

Just for trophies, is it really worth it? Also will my PS2 game saves work for it?

Anyone who cares about achievements or trophies is a loser.

You didn't achieve anything by playing a game.
