If you have some extra money left in your gaming budget, you might want to consider buying a copy of the next issue of Game Informer. It takes an in-depth look into one of the most anticipated PS3 titles so far: God of War 3.The mag's March issue will include exclusive info, art, and screenshots of the final installment of the brutal series. There's also some features on games like Resident Evil 5, Brütal Legend, and GTA 4: The Lost and Damned.
Aside from the meaty stuff found in its pages, the mag's also got a sweet cover showing Kratos being his usual bad-ass self. Check out how he grabs onto the cyclops' eyelid in the cover shot to the right. Man, that's gotta hurt like hell.

is this game coming out this year or next year?
I think it is. People have been saying that this is the PS3s year because of exclusive releases. Maybe I'm wrong.
I've never played God of War, those games came out after I stopped using my PS2, what are they? Is it an action game? I've never heard bad things about GOW, so I'll pick this up to see what it's about
If I had to compare the GOW series to another game, it'd be Devil May Cry. The past two GOW's have had excellent story telling, top notch voice acting, powerful musical score, and great pacing. The main character Kratos, is a madman capable of slaying the Gods themselves and is constantly on the prowl to shed some blood. The King of Sparta along with top notch production, provides a marriage of explosive entertainment.
You nver played GoW? Great story and only pick this game up if you have played the other two because you wont know the story unless they do a flashback on the 3rd installment. Pure is right it's like DMC but with a great storyline and music.

GOD III is going to blow our minds. Looks like 2009 is going to suck my wallet dry again.
Yup this is on my most wanted list along with Uncharted 2 and SFIV. All God of War games have been fantastic. Still impressed with the PSP one as I'd never thought I'd see it turn out as good as the home console games, and heck even the 2d mobile phone GoW game is pretty good.
This should look spectacular as 1 and 2 look amazing even running on what's now pretty old tech.
If I could. I got rid of my PS2 long ago, and my PS3 is a new one, no BC. Don't know how I can play it now
I'll get this and maybe watch the cutscenes from 1 annd 2 on youtube or something, if they're on there. This is probably gonna be one of the PS3's must-haves, I cant not buy it
