Surf's Up from Ubisoft takes you to the exotic island of Pen Gu where you'll start your quest to become not only a champion of the extreme sport, but a true legend that surfers will talk about for generations. The Sony PlayStation 3 version is highly anticipated as fans are curious to see just what the visuals will look like when you hit the waves in next-gen console fashion.

If these screens are any indication, it would be safe to say that watersports fans and casual players alike will have a good time at the beach. The developers are trumpeting an arcade-style experience with fun, simple controls and a slew of tricks to master.

You can work your way up the ranks in the single player mode or compete with friends in multiplayer matches. Your journey to greatness will not be a cakewalk as Ubisoft assures you that you'll have to learn more than balancing and control to win. The waves vary from time to time, and learning to adjust is essential if you don't want to end up being washed up-literally.
