Genji: Days of the Blade Videos |
Ó
Recently, we've covered a decent amount of information about the key features of Game Republic Studio's Genji: Days of the Blade. This time around, Chris Roper details the short demo of this upcoming PS3 release. Although the demo is too short, you can expect a few surprises. The following are just a few of them:
- Sword-wielding foot soldiers and handful of bowmen as enemies
- Small, bloodthirsty crabs possessed by the demon stones
- A monstrous warrior boss, which you can beat in two ways: use the larger, telephone pole-wielding character and perform his charged spin attack to knock off the boss' armor (which takes away half his health); or hit him from behind where his demon stone is unprotected. (Note: the first one is a quicker method than the latter, but of course it's up to you to try new and different ways to attack and beat him)
Again, because the demo was short, there was little left to do but marvel at what graphics are available to see. Needless to say, it was impressive, especially the intricate character costumes. You can even see for yourself as you check out the screens here. And when you're done admiring the graphics, don't forget to take a peek into the world of Genji: Days of the Blade by watching the impressive videos, all four of them.

giant enemy crab lol
I must say hard to be impressed by watching it but i was impressed by the quility of the music/sound effects which sound very crystal clear looks like with surround sounds system connected to the Ps3 its going add more to a game then possible by last gen. Cant wait to see what kojima and Square Enix can do.
is coming along pretty well. Videos show very crisp, beautiful and detailed graphs, it seems framerate is good and additionally there are a lot of new moves that makes combat more interesting.
I liked Genji 1, its combat system and history, this is shaping to be a real good sucessor.
