LittleBigPlanet is no longer little by any accounts, not with so many gamers constantly churning out new creations everyday. Media Molecule isn't finished with the title just yet though. At a panel interview during GDC, they remark that the game feels only "halfway through" and that they still have lots of things planned for it.

Says MM's Mark Healey:

I claim that LittleBigPlanet is potentially a game creation package [...] We still feel like we're halfway through the development of LittleBigPlanet, to be honest. [...] .We want LittleBigPlanet to be something that enables people to make games, not platform game levels.

This is something we've seen a bit happen in LittleBigPlanet, if you remember the Gradius and Tetris levels. And from Alex Evans:

[The content creation is] the least finished part of the game, which both excites and terrifies me...One of the things we have to do is taking that 0.1 per cent audience that can create things in LittleBigPlanet, and bring that to a wider audience; and that's what we want to do next.

Evans also mentions that they have a new feature that will "become a key part of the game." He didn't say when this feature will be released though.

» Just more add-ons

Those add-ons are big rip-offs. Paying a dollar or two for a costume, and that MGS pack is way too much, and they will be like that and more to come out. Putting pressure on the consumers and K@$hing in on that Arab money.

» wow

first person to complain about a company supporting their game by constantly adding to it. At least their not selling you something already on the disk (Capcom) or a cheat code (EA) and actually offer a lot of free costumes, not to mention the infinite amount of free levels. The costumes are completely optional and don't add to the game so if you don't want them, guess what, don't buy them. The MGS Pack was under priced if you ask me, 5 new levels, 1 challenge mini game, 1 premium outfit, and a gun which completely changes the whole game and how you play it

I agree with jrsmaster411. The Metal Gear packs were easily worth it. I tend to buy all the extra costumes and stuff and don't feel ripped off at all. Hell with the amount of great levels to play this is probably the best value for money game ever created.

» Oh My! Isn't LBP Amazing!

I was at the developer’s awards at GDC and it was already expected that LBP was going to take all awards given. It practically swiped the entire award shelf; that even the developers had to mention that other games deserved some credit too. So yeah! You can expect more from Media Molecule.
