Trailer was pretty lame. I hate teasers like that. They show nothing of what the game will be like. I know the game's a months off, but still. IW better revolutionize FPS, something COD4 failed to do (this is subject of much debate, but if anyone knows anything about the origins and history of FPS, it did nothing.)



They seemed to emphasize the whole green-hued nightvision style thing though. The whole interface of COD4 was the feeling that everything was digital, or something to that effect. It was to emphasize it was present-day and had present-day technology. I just hope they don't pull off a Splinter-Cell and give everyone a bunch of silly EMP gadgets and whatnot.

Many things can be done to freshen up the genre. I love games like Quake and UT, but UT3 proved that a lot of new ideas can be brought over to console-based FPS. UT3 on PS3 is the best FPS on the system, better than KZ2 when it comes to features.



Integrated mod support, keyboard n mouse support, splitscreen, trophies, PC and PS3 dedicated servers, a crapload of DLC available from many different sources (mods), it just goes on and on... It's also a blast to play.
