GC: Haze Vehicular Destruction gameplay video |

In this video, we see the player and his nectar-guzzling buddies pile into what looks like a monster truck crossed with a tank, before manning the thing in what appears to be the Haze equivalent of a dirt racetrack filled with mines and bombs and other nasty things.
What's really interesting in this video is that while it may look like the player's barely dodging the things that go kablooey to the left and right of him, upon closer inspection, his team-mates appear to be dying - and that's not a good thing. Even the bloke who's manning the gun gets offed.
While Free Radical's Haze may seem to share a few similarities here and there with a certain FPS on the Xbox 360, there's no doubt that it looks to deliver one of the more intense gaming experiences yet. Enjoy the video!

Haze isn't even coming out for the 360, its a PS3 exclusive.

I like how the dude slumpt over in the turret when he is killed, but it's sad he doesn't bounce around with the vehicle afterward.
Also, their version of the "Hog" doesn't seem as fun as the Halo one....doesn't seem to get the same air or have the bouncy physics that make the warthog so much fun to drive.....

this game looks average. the shadowing on the vehicle isnt even real time, it pops on there like nothing. when they hit the wall it took a bit to register, like the car went through the wall and then bounced off, and the rocks fall in slow motion whats up with that? no physics on the turret gunner, if this is their halo killer then sony is in some REAL trouble.
since when was this game considered a "Halo Killer." I mean as far as in general FPSs Bioshock is 20 times the FPS that Halo can never be.
And if your going to use the well that's on 360 too argument so will Haze, Killzone 2 is the only thing at this point people could put that stupid phrase to.
You seem to be nitpicking on things that you cannot actually confirmed from a video that looks to be shot with an SD camera (the audio and video lag makes that apparent), from a demo that most likely isn't the final build of a game coming out until November.
Don't be so hasty in slapping this game down.
SOCOM is to PS3 as Halo is Xbox360. To each their own, game on!
I'd say Warhawk will be the leading PS3 online game for a long time.

People are stupid. SOCOM was an amazing team game that required a lot of skill, teamwork, and experience. Severely underrated, and imo (yes, I have a 360, in fact i just got done playing halo2 on live) a BETTER and more balanced game than halo. So is counterstrike, btw.
BioShock is a great game to be sure, amazing even, but if you're talking about the gunplay it pales in comparison to Halo. The gunplay in BioShock is extremely average, probably the only bad thing about the game.
Let's just say that if BioShock had multiplayer, not many people would play it over Halo
Bioshock is amazing, but as said, it's gunplay is meh, and really only there to support the plasmids....and yes, it may be fun online for 10 minutes, but it's almost not in the same genre as Halo.....all they have in common is the camera and they use guns....and you take damage

Well if you really wanna see some impressive shadowing then you should take a look at the Kill Zone 2 gameplay video, then come talk to me about lighting effects. Killzone 2 will be the one to put Halo3 to shame. I only wished it was comming out his year so that people could see how much more superior Killzone 2 will be in comparison to Halo 3.
First of all you start sentences with a capital letter and second what the hell is a fat boy got to do with anything. I think you meant to say fan boy. Second learn how to use plurals, two games not game and last but not least, when you abbreviate you use capital letters for example, MGS4 and KZ2. Download Firefox and stop using that Microsoft piece of crap IE. Firefox spell checks everything you write on line just like word would off line.

Isn't a Halo killer. Nothing intends to be a 'Halo Killer.' Halo doesn't need to be killed. Better FPS games were out on PC long before Halo came out, and many better console games have come out since. A Half Life Killer, that'd be damn impressive, but I see nothing in existence that comes close on any console, or on PC.

this isnt a timed Exlcusive its a FULL exclusive for all those delusiones people Free Radical have said its a PS3 Exclusive only. Only fanboys say otherwise. I also agree Halo don't need to be killed we already got better games out like timesplitters and since this is from the same creator I say its gonna be another game better than Halo..
