Here is the GC 2006 trailer for Incognito's upcoming remake of the original Warhawk video game based on the PlayStation entertainment system. Warhawk is a sci-fi third-person shooter that takes advantage of the PS3 controller's motion sensing ability which allows the player to maneuver the aircraft by moving the controller rather than by pressing the buttons. The controller's ability to recognize free movement allows up to six degrees of freedom which plays into Warhawk's flying mechanics.
Warhawk's game engine boasts of procedurally-generated waves on the water, and volumetric clouds which are rendered in the software and composited with the hardware-rendered elements from the rest of the scene. It has single player mode and a split-screen multiplayer mode which supports up to 32 players online. It is set to be released on 17th of November 2006, both for US and Europe.

ROFL, this game looks *****ing horrible. It started off good with all the planes, and after that it just went to utter *****, the graphics look hella weak, when he gets shot the *****ing blood is worse than in HALO, and that was LAST gen.
Mechassults buildings going down looked better than this.
ROFL, oh man, this is what everyone was so hyped about.

Ps3 is not gonna KILL Xbox360 in terms of graphics or games. Graphically the 2 systems are practically identical. Stop thinking that ps3 will be the best just because it says Sony on it. No game system has won 3 generations, not even Nintendo. You think PS3 will have such amazing game, like what? Metal Gear, Killzone (the first one sucked and the videos you saw were not gameplay, no one knows what the actual game will look like), Final Fantasy, and what else? 360 has more great games out right now than the PS3 will for the next year and a half. Call of Duty 2, Oblivion, Ghost Recon, Chromehounds (yea i said it, CHROMEHOUNDS!!! ), Dead Rising, Saints Row, Fight Night. with more coming Lost Planet, Too Human, Crackdown (arguably one of the best games of E3), Mass Effect, Just cause, please lets not forget Halo 3 etc. etc. etc.. And lets not forget about this little thing called XBOX LIVE!!! And a lot of other games coming to the PS3 are for both consoles, so why should someone spend $600 on a system that most of its launch games are already on 360. Sony its a rap, As My chemical Romance says "SOO LONG AND GOODBYE!!!!"

PS. Don't forget Army of Two, Assassins Creed, FFXIII, Haze, LOTR:TWC, MGS4, Resi Evil 5, Ridge Racer 7, UT2007 and er...some more probably. Like I said, I'd be quiet right about.....now.

Secondly he forgot the Mass effect sequels, too human sequels, blue dragon, lost odyssey, cry on, GEARS OF WAR, ninja gaiden 2 (inevaitably), RE 5 is also coming to 360, as is Army of two IIRC, and the new LOTR game. I'm not gonna say PS3 is going to fail, I mean they have DMC 4, AC 4, MGS 4, FFXIII, and some others that I really don't care about, but it should do good.
But this game looks like utter horse ***** for all the bs people have been talking about.

to the "microsuckers" stop with the gears of war we know every one knows epic made the f##king engine if it sucks, no it won't but every one will be useing the unreal engine anywayz. its like a cookies cutter list yall go thought, i here same thing every time .

Also this video is not high quality so I wouldnt be judging graphics just based on this. First time I saw Gears of War I thought the game looked like crap especially the blood then I saw it in HD and I was blown away.
Anyway IGN has biger video you can watch if you click on the source. I expect great things from this game and I am sure it will not disapoint.
BTW quite with the game name dropping already. It's foolish. PS3 has more Big Name exclusives period. New IPs don't count or else any game is allowed to be great. Only big title exclusive with a big name for the 360 is halo. That's it. The sales difference between halo games on xbox and every other xbox title is astonishing. (around 5 million sales difference)

i'll answer that for you: you guys are all graphics whores. period. don't worry, we all are. we get excited about new consoles not because of tech specs, but because of the promise of games that look even better than the console before. it's perfectly natural. it's been that way since i first saw an Atari game running next to an NES game. then an NES game running next to an SNES game, and so on and so forth.
here's another piece of information: i got to play Warhawk at E3 this year, and it was a lot of fun. also, the visuals, while not much above, say, the orginal X Boxes best looking game, was still very good. the water looked amazing, as did explosions and the little details on the ship (there are all sorts of fancy parts moving on your ship as you zip about). another thing is that the tilt functionality worked practically flawlessly. i didn't detect any delay between the movements of my hands, and the action on screen. i'm convinced there may have been, but the important thing is that i didn't percieve any. i'd say it was 98.9% responsive. and that was back in May. by November 17, the game will have had 5 months to optimize.
as for the ground combat, i didn't get to try that, as they didn't have it on display. judging from this video, it looks like the ground battling will be similar to, i dunno, Star Wars BattleFront or Socom, which isn't a bad thing at all. also, there are hints of massive battles with numerous enemy troops, and destructable environments. i would gladly sacrifice some graphical bells and whistles to be able to carve a swath through hordes of troops and blasting my way (literally) through buildings everywhere. the closet i ever came to that was the classic game War of the Monsters on the PS2 (if you never liked the idea of destructable environments, play this game. it will surely change your mind).
in closing, Warhawk looks pretty damn solid, and i'm definitely picking it up at launch. before E3, it was not on my radar at all. after having first hand experience with it (there's a pun in there somewhere), i changed my tune, and next to Resistance: Fall of Man and Rainbow Six: Vegas (for a guy who's not big into FPSes, those two titles look really, really cool; note: i'm not just talking about the visuals, though i like them too), i'm really looking forward to owning it come this November.

believe me, i may talk a lot, but i honestly don't have enough to say to warrant creating another personality just to comment on message boards. Figboy is enough (though, if you are surfing other message boards, say, joystiq, and you see a Figboy, it's probably actually me).

XBOX 360 will not win the next GEN I repeat XBOX 360 will not win the next GEN. It might win in the US but in Asia (The Biggest Market) PS3 or Wii will definatly win.
I say Wii because of the price. I personally think people will get tired of the Wiimote, its gimicky in my opinion. Kids will love it though.
As for the exclusive tilles for systems that will be a thing of the past. The cost to develop titles this GEN are to high, most titles that are exclusive this GEN will be first-party.
i didn't come to throw insults, just came to tell the truth. since there are only a select few who are not bias and will tell the truth

The low res trailor showed little sign of jaggyness on any of the player models.
Air fights look amazing, ground fights dont look all that great. But there was alot going on in the game.
So in terms of graphics, the air battles are better then any Xbox360 game I have seen. The ground battles look to be very grim, but they have time to improve on it since it looks like it was added recently and with little to no polishing.
Why buy a PS3 game against an Xbox360 game. Why play a game on a mid-end computer then a high end computer. The ps3 is very much more powerful then the Xbox360. Anyone who says they are identical are mistaken, Power = graphics. Get that through to your fanboy heads. If anything is going to hold the PS3 back is the multi-console games, they have to limit the graphics so the Xbox360 and the PS3 version can use the same content. But the PS3 exclusive games will continute to get better as the Xbox360 reaches the limits.

The ps3 is slightly more powerful then the Xbox360. Anyone who says it is much more is mistaken. Get that through to your fanboy heads.
