We just got a trailer for Gauntlet II, an upcoming video game title for the PlayStation Network. Ahh, the nostalgia of the classic games.

This definitely brings back arcade and NES memories. Imagine going through endless levels filled with hordes of zergs - err.. monsters with just three of your friends. The new Gauntlet II from Midway and Sony Computer Entertainment allows players to play as Valkyrie, Wizard, Warrior, or Elf. And now there can be two of a certain class at the same time, as opposed to the classic where there can only be one of each. Another interesting addition is the enemy called "It". For those who've ever played the game of tag, you probably know what we mean.

There hasn't been any announcement as to when Gauntlet II will hit the PlayStation Network - or the PS3s of older gamers for that matter. We'll keep you posted, in the meantime, enjoy the video!

» You could do two at once.

In the first Guantlet you couldn't do two of the same class at the same time, but in Gauntlet II you could.

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

The only problem I have with this is that I already have this game on multiple platforms. It's ALREADY been re-released. Sort-of :)

They need a new edge! They could at least polish up the sprits or something. Or make it a real HD game.
