rockin' with Rock Band accessories - Image 1Electronic Arts and Harmonix are apparently not wasting any time promoting their newest rock n' roll game for next-gen consoles PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Rock Band.

Shortly after we reported on the announcement for Rock Band came the opening of the official website for the game. Only a couple of days later, we now have news that Rock Band's accessories are now up for pre-orders on GameStop. If that's not efficiency, then I don't know what is.

The online store lists the game for US$ 59.99 and marks the pre-release ship date for November 1, 2007. As for the accompanying controllers, here's the list for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions:
  • Rock Band Drum Set: US$ 79.99
  • Rock Band Guitar Controller: US$ 59.99
  • Rock Band Microphone: US$ 39.99
  • Rock Band Wireless Guitar Controller: US$ 79.99
In case you're not in the know yet, and you're wondering how come there's a full-blown band stuff needed in the game, that's because Rock Band allows you to actually play in a band, be it with friends in the same room or online. It's a full ensemble that's guaranteed to unleash the rockstar in you.

No images are yet available, so we can't show you yet how these cool items look like. But we'll be sure to keep you posted on more things Rock Band coming our way.
