GameStop gets exclusive deal for AC: Brotherhood beta

diveYou do know that there will be a PS3-exclusive multiplayer beta for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, yes? Good. Then the other thing you should know is that it will be coming to the US exclusively by pre-order via GameStop.

 

 

 

 

I hope you haven't placed your pre-orders anywhere else if you want in on the Beta. The pre-order Beta system is on a "first-come, first-served" basis, so yo better make sure you line up fast for the August 9th opening.

 

 

 

 

 

If, however, you've already pre-ordered the game via GameStop, all you have to do is bring your receipt to your local branch and get the token. The Beta is slated for September 19th, just two months ahead of the November 16th US launch, and November 19th for UK.

 

 

 

 

 

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood comes out for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

You know, it's both absolutely hilarious and incredibly infuriating that while all these big companies bemoan the used game market that Gamestop effectively controls, they keep giving gamers reasons to shop there. Like, seriously....what the hell are they thinking.

"We hate Gamestop, so let's give them exclusive deals all the time! What a completely not backasswards idea!"

Very true and doesn't Gamestop make most of the profit out of this anyway? lol. Bad move on Sony's and any one else who offers exclusivity through Gamestop.
