GameStop is offering a sweet deal for those who will pre-order Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). They're throwing in the in-game Villain Challenge Map, and you'd surely want to have a go at that as soon as you can because supply's only as good as it lasts.

The GameStop Exclusive offer is available for all versions of the game (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), so everyone gets a jolly good time. And if you place your pre-orders by the 24th of August at 11AM CST, you can expect it at your doorstep overnight, making you a proud owner of the game on the very first day of its release.

Both Online and Store customers will have the instructions on how to unlock the Villain Challenge Map packaged inside the game.

I thought this was exclusive to PS3. Now, it's on all three versions, AND it's only for pre-orders, AND there's a limited number of them? *headdesk*

Whatever happened to releasing a complete game where you get all game modes and maps or whatever on the disc, instead of releasing a half completed game where you have to pay or preorder the additional costs to get the rest of the content.

I have no problem with DLC and the like but I'll only get it if the developers put in the extra effort to support their game.

Some developers are getting worse and worse.

I'm especially pissed off that the All Fronts collection doesn't even come with a premium theme like the retail version said it would.

How are gamers supposed to support their favourite developers when the developers don't support the fans.

you probably have a place where all the villians are and you have to fight them all.

I think all this DLC is becoming bull*****. Sure. Games like GTA4 or Oblivion which come out and then later on they add expansions. That's fine because you're getting a fairly large add on.

However, stuff like this where they release the game and all of this is readily available should already be included within the game. We're just getting incomplete games that are being released the same day with additional DLC just so they can make more money. If a game is developed with everything in mind, don't make all the extras that are already developed into DLC.

» actually....

I guess the Joker map is still PS3 exclusive, and this pre-order bonus is a Scarecrow map. This is still lame.
