Rev up, PlayStation 3 racers! GameSpot has announced its first-ever PS3 tourney and it features one of the stars of the platform: MotorStorm. Registration begins today and goes on until 12:00 pm (PDT) of May 7. See the read URL on the registration process.The tournament mechanics are simple: Players are grouped by ten and the top five finishers will advance to the next round. Once the elite are separated from the good, the four top performers will be named and flown to San Francisco for the finals.
The event is called MotorStorm tournament championship and will be broadcast on Tournament TV. The winner will receive a goodie-bag worth US$ 1,000 along with the honors that come with the title.

That would be awsome if Nintendo had a smash bros tournament when it comes out. That would be crazy
