GamesCon 2009: Rage screenshots

Apart from videos, GamesCon 2009 is also full of screenshots. And why not, that's the exact purpose of the event, right? To showcase your wares? That's what Electronic Arts exactly did: showcase their ware with id Software, Rage (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), via screenshots.

Todd Hollenshead even gave a few words on the FPS title. "Rage represents a new direction for our games," he said. "Rage is a shooter unlike any other, developed on our cutting edge new technology, and built to the exacting standards id is famous for."

I really, really want to like this game. I really do. I'm hoping, though, that it's a full, solid game like Fallout 3 and not just another tech demo (Doom 3).
