GAME: Gran Turismo 5 won't arrive in UK until 2009 |

Fans of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 have it bad because of the fact that GAME, a retailer of video games, sent an email to their customers confirming that the European release of the game won't be until 2009. In their email notification, GAME stated that "the legendary 'Real Driving Simulator' Gran Turismo 5 is heading to PlayStation 3 in 2009, utilising the uber-console's raw horsepower to generate an unrivalled level of realism."
Aside from this breaking tidbit of information, they included the promotion of the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The teaser version will be features five tracks, 40 cars and a 16-players online racing mode.
Having the said, you guys better keep your eyes glued to our site for more updates regarding the developments on this much-anticipated game.

That's just *****ed up in the head what was the point in advertising it in the first place if it's not out till 2009. What a waste of time waiting for it now.
Sony need to watch ot for the EU people... there are the ones who are making the PS3 winning

perhaps there may be online technicalities, but i doubt it.
isn't one of the marketing ploys for online gaming - the ability to play with gamers from all over the world?
i don't even know what online modes this game will have.
online racing's never really appealed to me anyway.
But it sucks to be you. At least the North American version isn't too far behind the Japanese version.
and they will get play TV before than us... by far... like a year later if it will come here...
we still waiting for our prologue. If its working in Japan, why not jus ready the game already for us westerners
Since many international games always wind up in NA before they do in the EU, that possibly means we (North Americans) will see it sometime this year.
Well, the EU guys shouldn't have it too bad, as long as they get TF5 Prologue sometime this year.
