Who would have thought that a group of rubber duckies could actually make it as one of the best downloadable games ever to land on Sony's PlayStation 3? Apparently, Sumo Digital did, hence the creation of Super Rub-a-Dub.

"...Sheffield Hallam University came to us with a technology demo," he explains. "Any objects within the water in this prototype were affected by the flow, and the potential was great... If you're a duck, why not rescue some ducklings? It gives you a purpose and a reason!"

Such simple logic, and yet it turned out so brilliantly. We guess great things come from small beginnings, indeed, then. In case you still haven't jumped aboard the... er - duck wagon, there are over 60 levels to enjoy in Super Rub-a-Dub. In any case, we've grabbed some neat screenshots of the game, too, for your viewing pleasure.

curious

Were you guys paid to say this? This game is brutal. The controls are awkward and unresponsive, and the overall gameplay is boring. "...one of the best downloadable games ever"!??! I hardly think so -- do you have facts to back this up?

facts...

"most downloaded PSN title" title > your opinion. that's basically all the facts you need there.

yes

i think they were paid to say this. its blatantly bias journalism, unless they just cut and pasted it from somewhere else like the rest of their articles

I like this game

One of the games I show people when they ask about the motion controls. Super Rub a Duck is one of those games you keep coming back to and its hard for anyone to resist, except the most fantical fanboy. Most of my family hates the PS3, but when this game comes out evryone gets involved.
