Free-to-play multiplayer space action game coming to Home |
Listed in: PS3 Tags: hellfire games, novus prime, playstation 3 updates, Playstation Home, PlayStation Network, Sony
Central Plaza is facing imminent attack, so Sony's calling on PS3 owners to log back into Home to help defend it. What's in it for you? Defending against this alien invasion means that you get to engage in some multiplayer space action right there in Sony's virtual world. It's free to play, so why not give it a shot?
You can form teams of up to four members and you can take on waves and waves of enemies in Novus Prime, a pretty little shmup developed by Hellfire Games. If you really get into it, you always have the option of purchasing premium content, suchs as better ships, new weapons, upgrades, and the usual batch of costumes for your avatar. If you do great in the game, you'll earn yourself "an exclusive animated officer’s jacket."
The invasion begins tomorrow, December 2nd.
