Haze by Free Radical - Image 1Speculations over Haze going cross-platform instead of being Sony PlayStation 3 exclusive are still hot, and Free Radical's creative director Derek Littlewood did little to put out the fire. In a recently published interview, he stated that "release platforms [of Haze] TBD but you can be assured they won’t have the word ‘exclusive’ anywhere near them."

Littlewood did admit that speculations of fans regarding Haze appearing outside the PS3 are mostly mere speculations and not fact, saying it's unfair for them to get angry at the development team because the wildly anticipated shooter is still slated to launch only on Sony's console.

"But then, we equip our teams with sturdy iron pants here at FRD so they can generally weather any amount of angst. Plus theyÂ’re wipe-clean, which comes in handy," Littlewood commented.

Back in January, a spokesperson for publisher Ubisoft said Haze will remain exclusive to the PS3 despite delays. Soon after, the title also received a May 20 release date for the console it was announced to be on.

QJ who does thr reading on ya'll side?

Mike Bowden: What about your future as Creative Lead? Are their any projects you are working on or will be working on that you can talk about or even allude to? Derek Littlewood: As soon as Haze is done I’ll be throwing myself into a tricky duo of projects: ‘Having a life’ and ‘Remembering what my family look like’. Release platforms TBD but you can be assured they won’t have the word ‘exclusive’ anywhere near them. Now qj tell me where he said HAZE wont have the word exclusive on the box of the game...!!!

looks to me like he said "release platforms TBD but you can be assured they won't have the world 'exclusive' anywhere near them." ABOUT "having a life" and "remembering what my family look like". NOT haze. the question he was asked didn't even touch on the subject of haze, so why his response would include a hint as to whether the game would be ps3 exclusive or not, is beyond me. it seems "Nicolo S." can't read a sentence properly.

lol

Yeah, thats what it says. It's sort of misleading, but I'm decently sure he was talking about his life. I half thought about saying "Man, I wish FRD would get their info straight" before I read this little mishap :P Its like taking a quote like: "Sure, I love people - People are what make the world spin. Except those throbbing c0cks - aka the opposition, who make life miserable instead being able to say "they are part of the world that make life wonderful". and turning it into: "I love throbbing c0cks, they make life wonderful". :D
