Rock Band PS3 Xbox 360 - Image 1

Good things come to those who wait patiently. Getting your Rock Band (PS3, PS2, Xbox 360) guitar controller busted is bad enough. Requesting that it be replaced and waiting for a longer-than-should-be time span makes the whole ordeal worse. Well, imagine your luck.

Harmonix is compensating delayed guitar replacements with a free game! They've been sending out emails to people who have sent requests for guitar controller replacements, and, confirming that there's a delay in their manufacturing line, they're going to make up for it. Part of their email includes:

By the time you receive this, your replacement guitar should be on its way to you. However, the Rock Band team is committed to providing a world-class customer experience and we do not believe we have met this commitment in connection with your request. As a token of our appreciation for your patience and understanding, we will be offering you a FREE EA game. Details will follow shortly.

As you can see, no specific EA titles were given. So, if you've received this email, chances are, a list of your choices will be coming in the near future. We'll keep you posted when they do come out.

Buy: [Rock Band Special Edition (Xbox 360)]
Buy: [Rock Band Special Edition (PS3)]

WTF EA!!!!

What about me waiting over a week for "2 day shipping" on my f*cking bass pedal? It's like they didn't even test the f*cking thing before making 4 million of them and shipping them out. It broke clean off in 2 f*ckin days! I want to play my f*cking game EA! I call f*cking customer support and they give me some BS excuse due to the thanksgiving rush blah blah. 2 day shipping never takes over a f*king week! Give me a free game too goddammit!!!!!

Ok....

MCS, please quit spazzing out, quit acting like an angry 12-year-old with a "pirate's mouth", and suck it up. You'll get your pedal eventually, so please refrain from whining and cursing so harshly and have some patience...
