Folklore video: the netherworld never looked so pretty

While E3 wasn't as spectacular as it used to be, the number of amazing games on the table is simply overwhelming. Game Republic's Folklore is one of the most beautiful games yet to see a western release, and here's a gameplay montage to prove it.

One would say that the combat, even with all those cool demons to summon, isn't anywhere near groundbreaking. We'll have to say it looks fun, and the game earns more merits in other aspects that almost warrant it as a must-buy.

The art in Folkore is downright breathtaking - from the creative and unique monsters, to the gorgeous environments. Its style is clearly Japanese, with transforming pretty girls and a Jrock track to boot.

PS3 doesn't have many killer games out yet but this game looks very interesting, the best thing about the ps3 is that it isn't a FPS/Third Person Shooter based console like the xbox 360.

i don´t know what the hell ppl flaming other about the consoles, i can tell, wii, x360 and ps3 are all great i have the 3 consoles and can tell all they are great ... stop with this fan console war, it´s bull***** fighting when the real winner are the console company ...



And yeah, the video is very cool ... i hope it will be nice and 1080p ...

is it just me or does game look like it's partially inspired by luigi's mansion (GCN)?



what were they doing? capturing their souls or something? well whatever they were doing it definitely reminded me of that game. except without the flashlight and catchy music.
