Someone's sad over the final Folklore bundle... - Image 1Game Republic just released its latest and final add-on pack bundle for the Sony PlayStation 3 exclusive, Folklore. Like previous DLC for this Folk-filled title, new missions, creatures and costumes are going to be available for protagonists Keats and Ellen.

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) and Game Republic's Folklore Add-on #5, called “Nightmares,” introduces a robotic Folk that can spew beams of hot magma. If you're not in it for the Folk hunting, a new quest tied to the actual storyline in which you encounter Charlotte is included . You also get to embark on a quest to discover why Livane attacked a tree, finish the Faery Photo mission if you purchased "The Origin of Belgae" pack, and don a top hat with matching tuxedo.

From Folklore Add-on #6 titled "Visions of the Tower," Ellen gets a pink-haired Folk with mushrooms on her feet, a hellishly hot outfit, and a series of quests for Ellen and Keats. You'll be playing detective to unveil the secrets of the tower and why more faeries are starting to lose their paths. Another mission begins when you receive a letter that leads to the discovery of the Faery Lord's true intentions.

Game Republic didn't include the prices, but we're expecting US$ 3.99 per pack and US$ 5.99 for the bundle just like before. This is supposed to be the last batch of DLC for Folklore, but associate producer Eric Fong said updates on the PlayStation Blog should surface if demand by fans make it necessary.

Just picked this game up...

and I love it ^^ Can't wait to start downloading the add-on packs, they're a great idea. It was seeing the sheer number of add-ons that convinced me to buy the game in the first place, so this is great news.
