Flow eats blue dot, gets pushed to 2007 |
Ó
For all the graphical coolness of the first batch of PS3 games, it's the simplicity of Jenova Chen and Nicholas Clark's flOw that really feels like a new direction for gaming. The interface is simple, the controls even moreso, but the gameplay and feelings evoked by playing the game are simply refreshing.
That's why we can't help but feel somewhat glum that flOw is getting delayed. Instead of getting released some time this month, word's been sent out that the game will now be out sometime in January 2007. The PS3 version of the game will get substantial upgrades from its original incarnation as a flash game, with new creatures to control and some gameplay tweaks beyond your usual audiovisual enhancements. There isn't an explanation yet as to why the delay has happened, but we'll be optimistic and think that the delay was caused by someone eating a blue dot in thatgamecompany's offices.
Still, if you're looking to get a bit of a flOw fix, you can always try and hunt for the original flash game online or pick it up from us. It might not have multiplayer like this new version will purportedly possess, but it's still a fine solitary venture for gamers looking for something new in their experiences. Enjoy!

It's not like anyone is anticipating this game anyways, so why the hell are you making news about it. I'm sorry for this Chen guy. You don't delay upstart *****.
you foolish 360 fankid
I don't need you crying around in the posts about games you aren't interrested in. Heck, if it doesn't consern you then piss off. Who gives a poop about what you think.
I happen to own a PS3, not a 360, it just pisses me off that they delayed the only... wait.... Gran Turismo HD is still coming out the 24th... yeah, who cares what I think... Merry Christmas.
its only gonna be another few weeks, no big deal. i want a fully polished game that is great than a quick rush just to get it out.
I think they pushed Gran Turismo HD back in America? I am not sure You might want to check some stuff out?
Yep here is what I am talking about. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6162226.html?tag+latestnews;title;0
Did some research. PD will not be releasing the disk in stores now. On Dec 24th, 2006 you will be able to download GT: HD from the PS online store. It will be a free download but I think you will have to pay for the vehicles just like in the business that was proposed earlier.
