Five scans of Need for Speed: Pro Street for 360 and PS3

Need for Speed: Pro Street (what others are calling "Need for Speed XI" or "Need for Speed 2007") is the newest game in the Need for Speed franchise. The recent teaser trailer flashed a date ("31 - 05 - 07") so we're all expecting the official details and release information will be released on May 31, 2007.

The game is being developed by Electronic Arts Black Box, and it's also going to be published by EA. Here's some of the things we hope will be confirmed by EA on May 31, 2007:

The juicy details on whatever whole new game engine technology they've been working on.
Drag racing will be included in the game.
The game title. Soft Club (the Russian publisher) said that the game will be called "Need for Speed: Pro Street" - but then they removed that bit of info.
The release date. Soft Club said November 2007, but they also removed that bit of info.
A bigger, better, and stronger AutoSculpt feature (the car customization feature).

Everybody "knows" that the game will be for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3 (yet another thing that should be confirmed once and for all on May 31, 2007).

By the way, there was a bit of news a few weeks ago. Other than that, very very very little is known for certain about this game. Other than the fact that it looks awesome, like these scans from JeuxFrance for "des versions Xbox 360 et PlayStation 3":

What if EA released Carbon as a crappy decoy to cover up the making of possibly one of their best games, err... sequels yet to come? Now don't go calling me an idiot now, think about it... Why would EA release Carbon(which disappointed almost all of us) and then 3 months later leak a promo of another game 3 months later? I mean, Why wouldn't EA do something like that? They've gone out of their way to do crazy ***** like that before. Release a crappy game, that was completely unexpected, get everyones hopes up and get their money for it, use that money to enhance "Pro Street" and disappoint everyone, then... out of the blue, tease everyone with a high quality preview... I bet they are going to wait until about mid-summer, when Carbon's ratings start to plummet(if Carbon's ratings last that long) and then announce Pro Street(doubt they will keep the title) as the official 11th addition the the NFS series. Could this be possible? I think so. Are there going to be people who disagree with me? Of course. But, think what you want. But I'm just saying that it takes time to create a great game, and releasing Carbon gave EA some extra time to work on Pro Street. If EA hadn't released something, then there would have been a big drop in their profits, and they didn't want to lose money, or keep the gamers waiting. So they threw Carbon together and.. well... It wasn't that great lol. But hopefully They will complete Pro Street and Release it some time within the next year or so. And I don't believe a word about the "Disapproval of Pro Street" I mean, why would they release a trailer, just to deny the game, and piss everyone off? I mean, EA is a bunch of *****s, but, they arent THAT big of *****s.

ok its going to be on ps3 and 360 but what about the wii? ye i know the wii is a less powerfull console but why leave the wii out, not everybody has a ps3 or 360 and it would increase their number of sales so they need to bring it out on wii....

my question is is y aren't they coming out with this for pc graphically it will kick the ***** out of both ps3 and xbox360 and need for speed started out on pc it would be stupid if they didn't put it out for the pc but otherwise it looks good

I think it will be out on pc too.....every need for speed game has been out on pc and i dont think they would change all of a sudden and just make it for xbox 360 and ps3.

Besides, very few people have xbox 360 and ps3...let's hope it comes out on pc too as usual.

I dont really care about xbox 360 or ps3 (they are way too expensive)
