Ó
Earlier, we reported that Ninja Gaiden is coming over to the PS3. If that news wasn't enough to put fans into a frenzy, then maybe these scans will. Word is that the new title, called Ninja Gaiden Sigma, is meant to be the "perfect version" of the Xbox's Ninja Gaiden. Alright, maybe it's a port, but what a great looking port! This PS3 title will have new weapons, new levels and drastically improved in-game graphics and cutscenes. Dual wielding - a dream in which all of us ninja fans over here share - is also now possible in Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
Check out the scans and give the folks over at Tecmo a hand, folks. Ryu Hayabusa is definitely going to make his PS3 debut in style.

Just for a reference, on this list, the PS3 has most number of titles (PS3 > X360 > PC > Wii). Moreover if I measure the qualities of titles, it goes like this: PS3 > X360 & PC > Wii. So many titles which were released so far have been multi-platformers; and in most cases, different versions of same title have received different review scores because of many reasons. Take an example. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was a multi-platformer. X360 version received 95%, Xbox got 60% and PS2 acquired 40% on average. This trend is same for most multi-platformers. If you are a MS fanboy and happy with X360 version of Assassin’s Creed, go ahead. If one title is released on PS3 and X360 both; then if PS3 version can receive 90%, on the other hand, X360 version may receive 75%. Should I mention that I’m nobody’s fanboy (Actually the only consoles I have actually bought were Xbox and Xbox 360; I have sold my Xbox, then I returned my X360 and got full refund; finally the only game machine I have now is my PC)?

Listing a couple of tweaks off my head.
Customize what button to use when throwing the enemy. Jump, Y or Jump + X, etc.
Include the speed upgrade like in Ninja Gaiden Black.
Bring back the intercept but make the timing like in Onimusha (more difficult)
Include the prospective third-view like in Ninja Gaiden Black.
If you know any more extra tweaks from the original Ninja Gaiden or Ninja Gaiden Black. Please feel free to comment.
And extra goodies such as more costumes for both Ryu and Rachael (yum).

I've been wanting Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox, but didn't want to buy a new system for 1 or 2 games. This has answered my prayers!

Congratulations , that has to be the dumbest comment of the day. It's almost as bad as your comments here (which Jez and others responded to).;

The gap between the PS2 and the XBox is wider than that between the PS3 and 360, and yet the scores for multi-platform games between both consoles were ALWAYS very close, because in the end, whilst graphics and sound may add a few points to the overall score (giving the XBox version the edge), it's actually the GAMEPLAY that matters the most, something you fail to understand it seems.
So since you like to compile lists, go through the list of games released on both PS2 and XBox and find those where there's a 15% difference in the review scores, just like you claim will happen between PS3 and 360. I'll save you the time and tell you that the scores you'll see are very similar between both consoles for such games.
Doesn't gameplay matter to you at all?

He does give GRAW as an example however, but this is really a next-gen game squeezed onto last gen consoles, so the XBox and PS2 scores for this game are not representative of what we saw last gen between XBox and PS2 multi-format games, where the scores were close like you said (when reviewed by the same websites of course).
So it's a bit ridiculous for anyone to expect a big difference between PS3 and 360 game scores when history doesn't support this point of view. But given imkro's comments in that other thread, it's perhaps not suprising that he would arrive at such conclusions. ;)

You have to think though seeing that Team Ninja is releasing this game to the ps3 maybe Ninja Gaiden could perhaps be a 360 and ps3 title. I'm sorry I said it but you have to think this kind of shows that thought

Anyway, I think 360 games will be seeing NG2 on the console, whilst PS3 gamers will be enjoying an updated port of NG (GREAT game). :)
