Remember Pigtailed Girl? As revealed by a recent Famitsu scan, it turns out her name is actually Vanilla (according to Final Fantasy Union's translation, anyway). Who'da thunk she'd have such a "vanilla" or plain name?Anyway, the Famitsu scan that revealed Pigtailed Girl's name is on the right. Click it for a larger version.
The scan also shows more Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3, Xbox360) battle screens featuring Lightning busting out Fire and Cure spells against a mechanical enemy with buzzsaw hands. Square Enix sure likes them buzzsaws.

I like it! I like all the characters in XIII and Versus XIII, except Noctis. I just wish he wasnt so emo, and his clothes are soo baggy--doesnt say swordsman at all. And he looks so Japanese! Like he has really squinty eyes, which is bad even for japanese gamers because in Japanese cartoons/games they try to look like white people.

but cloud dint LOOk emo. He had blond hair and tons of energy. In every video i've seen this Noctis does nothing but look like he's about to b*tch and moan about stuff. And since when is the fact that japanese people have squinty eyes a stereotype? I think its a widely known fact.
His tan skin and non existant eyes scream Japanese.
