Just when the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII is about to hit the shores of Japan, Amazon is now selling the game's PS3 version for a bargain price. If you haven't picked up a copy yet (which is inexcusable, really, unless you're a Xbox 360 owner in Japan) then this is your time go get one.
Final Fantasy XIII PS3 can now be yours for US$ 19.99. The Xbox 360 version, on the other hand, remains to be pegged at US$ 33. That's still a pretty good deal considering that other retailers still have it at US$ 49.99.

I quite liked Final Fantasy XIII and 20 dollars is one hell of a deal. The nerds and Final Fantasy fanboys that don't like the idea of Pulse are the ones who can't deal with the new style. -__-

$20 is a good price. I guess no one wants to keep that game. It's the first FF game that I ever sold back. There's just no replay value.

The game would have been much better even just by allowing japanese voices.

Probably lowered the price in order to push more units now that they scrapped plans for any DLC.

Graphics are pretty, the environments are nice and varied. Still there are so many things that just make me go 'huh?'.
Like the crystarium, what a joke. The time they spent making that all fancy looking could have been put into other places of the game. Really all you do is hold the X button and watch the pretty lights. The "choices" they give you are no brainers or so inconsequential it doesn't matter if you skip em or not.
Could easily have been a plain text screen.

On the other hand, FF 13 had amazing graphics, addictive gameplay, interesting music and a much better story then FF 12. If you don't like the Crystarium try a "no EXP" game. It's challenging and fun. BTW in the earlier FF games (7 and bellow) you had no control whatsoever when it came to EXP managing so the crystarium and shpere grids are an improvement over the "nothing" erlier FF games had.
