Final Fantasy IX on US PlayStation Store 'soon'

North America is definitely not missing out on Final Fantasy IX. Sony has confirmed that the PSOne Classic will be hitting the US PlayStation Store too.

 

The only thing missing now is a date, since the announcement only mentioned that release and pricing details will be announced "soon". The PSOne original has already been dated for a May 20 release in Japan.

Vagrant Story was out on the AUS PS store mid last year. Still can't believe its not out for the US store yet. I've been waiting for FF-Tactics to get on the PS store. My PSP GO needs some more downloadable love.

There's a PSP game that's a remake to the original tactics with some improvements.

Interesting that they announcement that it's going to hit US Stores came before the actual release of it on PSN Japan.

BTW, ff9 truly isn't classic by any measure IMO other than being old.

In fact its a bit of a stinker, but I was trying to be nice by not mentioning that.

dude the people have a point. how read this articale if you dont like ff9. go troll someplace else. people are commenting on wat your saying cuz you are kinda being a douche. if you dont like the game fine but dont comment here and waste space. on that note. i love this game one of the last really good classic FF games. i have played it so much and i will buy it again to support Square Enix

This game has never ran very fast on PSP. Load times are worse than PS1. Of course it could be the Phat's fault.
Should run great on PS3, though. And look great too!

worst ff ever! bad storyline gameplay. it has no flow but they recovered in 10

honestly 9 is probably the worst out of all 12 not counting the MMO since thats not "really ff" but none the less 9 is last place as it...sucks
