We're sure you guys remember the earlier iterations of Red Faction, and now that the fight is back on Mars, we're sure a good lot of you are waiting for updates regarding THQ and Volition's upcoming sequel, Red Faction: Guerrilla. Today's update will have us ogling at some screenshots from the said video game.

In case you've been living under a rock and missed THQ's announcement last February, Red Faction: Guerrilla (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC) is a sci-fi third person shooter that picks up where the first two games left off. It's set fifty years later and well, you will still be up against the EDF (Earth Defense Force) again. In the screenshots, we see some action on the red planet, some mechs, a pretty big explosion, and then some.

We'll quit babbling so you can check out the screenshots below. We'll be keeping an eye on Red Faction: Guerrilla, so watch this space for updates.

Now THIS looks like a next gen game. Let's see if it'll play like one. The only thing I don't like is how it's no longer an FPS./
