Fight Night Round 3 screens and a reminder |

We know EA's Fight Night Round 3 is already out. However, we can't help but wonder why there isn't so much talk about it. And then we reckoned, the answer boils down to just two simple things. First, not a lot of gamers purchased the title; and next, the game did fine but given its nature, there's really nothing much to talk about.
Have you guys grabbed a copy and tried the rather new FPB perspective? Do you happen to have friends who own Xbox 360 and decided to compare both versions? Are you two still friends? Why did you befriend them to begin with? Nah, we're just messing with you. Anyway, we put this up because we were thinking just exactly that: sometimes, fanboys and haters are like two boxers in the ring.
We mean, honestly, it had happened many times before even here at QJ. We know it can't be avoided sometimes, especially now that there are a lot of multi-platformed titles out there. Some X360 fan boy would go to a PS3-dedicated article then would begin name calling. Quite frankly, some PS3 fans had done the same.
We're not saying it's bad or something. We know it's just a little competition and something like that is never harmful. We guess what we're saying is that go keep wooting for your preferred consoles but don't draw blood. No name callings, please.
Wow, amusing how this one turned out like a public service announcement. It's as if we feel like we're your big brother. Big Brother QJ. Oh, crap...

Alot of people didn't purchase the title? QJ are you nuts? Everyone I know who has a 360 has this game. In my opinion it is still one my favorite titles for the 360. Being a true boxing fan I have some improvments I would like to see in the next version.
1. Ring announcer needs to be seen in the ring when announcing the fighters, if they could get Michael Buffer or Jimmy Lennon Jr. that would great.
2. The retro (classic) fights need to drop the advertisment for the Dodge Caliber. Im pretty sure this car didn't exist when Ali fought Fraiser.
3. In training mode let the user distribute the given attribute points.

anyways.... wanting to know if theres any REAL differences between the two.... i have both systems and want to buy only 1 game. ready to know some foos out...
xbox360 version looks better than PS3 version and also plays better too. Have u seen the background in PS3 version UGLY!!!

ok i know this point has been made already, but to fairly compare you need to compare games that launched with f@gbox 3$hi++y to the games that launched with ps3. i'm talkin exclusives. Compare booty Quake 3 (shooter) to Resistance (shooter) compare PGR (race) with RIIIIIIIIIDGE Racer remember that one? (race) i mean yeah, ps3 might be SLIGHTLY inferior NOW but it just came out! give ps3 the year that gaybox has been out and i promise that it will poopoo on the competition. i mean just think, ps3 JUST came out! and its only slightly inferior, to a system that has maxed out on its potential. really now. OH and just for fun, for all the fanboys saying how ps3 is huge or whatever, ok so its like what an inch bigger than the 360? Its not really fair either. Take that power "house" (too huge to be called a brick) take the external hd, the external Hd-dvd addon and a nice thick blanket to cover up that SUPER LOUD system and then its fair. wow, now ps3 looks like a wii next to the box. what now? *shakes head* xbox users will always be in denial.

what it all boils down to is this, if you want good cheap fun get a bike. if you want a fully loaded hyundai, get a 360. if you want a lambourgini get a ps3.

i 100% agree, the ps3 just came out, and all the titles that have came out so far ARE MUUUCCCHHH BETTER than the games at the 360's launch, and there is definately no arguing that.
The real competition wont begin until next year or so when devs find each consoles true abilities and learn the system better.
And comparing the PS3 LAUNCH games compared to the same game that recently came out on 360 as well, there is NO MAJOR DIFFERENCE! There are slight variations in terms of lighting and textures and the such (its been proven so far that the 360 has more vivid lighting but the ps3 has much higher detailed and life like textures).
So think about that, 360 has been out a year, PS3 not even a month yet, and the difference in the games for the 360 in its second year compared to that same title on PS3.. THERE IS NO MAJOR DIFFERENCE.
So theres no way in hell people can say the 360 is better than PS3. Wait until both system's full potential has been unlocked.

So many MS and sony fanboys. Ok first off the MS graphics aren't better than the PS3's in everything. Let me break it down to you. The PS3's character graphics give more detail to the characters and enviroment. 360 gives better lighting and a little bit more texture. Each system is better than the other at certain parts. Why can't people actually make up an unbiased statement. Also yes the PS3 did just come out but I don't recall anyone saying "PS3 IZ GONNAZ OWN ONCE ITZ RELEASED!!!11!!!". More than likely it was a MS fanboy doing that to stir stuff up. In time their will be better games that show some more potential of the PS3 but there are also some games that will show more potential for the 360. (Halo 3, Halo wars, Not sure if they are making a Gears of Wars 3 but most likely they are). also with firmware updates both companies offer it could add more to both systems.
