Electronic Arts announced that they're developing FIFA Street 3, scheduled for a spring 2008 release, for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PS3. Much like its namesake, FIFA Street 3 introduces players to the world of freestyle football often played in streets and backlots around the world.

FIFA Street 3 will offer players a more straight-out soccer game focusing on flair and style. By comparison, FIFA 08 (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PSP, DS) offers slower but more tactical maps. Here are among the features the game is expected to carry for its release:
  • Featuring over 250 of the worldÂ’s best players representing 18 of the top international teams
  • Every player carries their own distinctive style of play and abilities
  • Choose from Tricksters, Enforcers, Playmakers and Finishers to give you different options on the ball
  • Game engine based on NBA Street Homecourt (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360), AI from FIFA 08
In line with this early announcement, we've also managed to pick up several screenshots to give you an idea of how FIFA Street 3 is looking so far. Enjoy the pics, and be sure to stick around in case more features are revealed in the near future.
