Electronic Arts gave the Online Team Play feature for FIFA 08 (PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, DS, PSP, Wii) the go signal today. The Online Team Play feature is automatically available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of FIFA 08 when players connect online.
Online Team Play is a free downloadable feature that enables ten people on ten different consoles anywhere in the world to connect online and play a single match in FIFA 08. Five players, supported by AI teammates, can choose a team and take control of their own individual players for a head-to-head match against another team controlled by five other players.
Players can choose to play as a single, fixed player the entire game or with free roaming players. Teams can also have a combination of both. Anyway you choose to play, Be A Pro: Online Team Play challenges players to master the same disciplines as a real football player - from positioning and tackling to reading the field and passing.
