Serah Farron, the blonde-haired, wide-eyed beauty is none other than Lightning's younger sister. And Snow's fiance. Great, the guys finally get more girls in FF and this one's taken. They didn't mind sharing their lovey-dovey moments, too, you'll see in the scans. Complete with fireworks and all that cheesiness too.

I'm loving the characters so far. They all looks cool (except the black afro guy)
Kinda funny. One is named Lightning, the other... Serah..... kinda boring name compared to: LIGHTNING!!11
Maybe Momma Farron was on Megalixir's when she named Little Lightning? And then she grew up with a crappy childhood, which would explain the serious/pissed off look she always has?

Is starting to look like "Final Fantasy XIII : Rise of the blonde haired white protagonists". The originality level of all of these characters is about as high as old 80's anime. I guess its to be expected when this game is being headed by the old dude who did the earlier games. Versus at least is trying to be original. I can already predict what some of the negative reviews are going to say.
I was extremely excited for this game and then as every character was shown my excitement dipped. Today it hit bottom. Another character looking just as bland and unoriginal as the others just spells cliche. I'm looking forward to Versus more than ever, can't wait till they show some more of that, I don't think I'll even pick this game up on day one (I'll still get it of course since I'm a fanboy)

the characters are losing their uniqueness, cloud and his big'daddy sword or kefka and his madness. ever since ff10 (in my opinion), characters began to bland.

...Ever since the fusion with Enix and the growth as a major player in the game industry Square has mostly put out cheap ports, lazy remakes and well, crap.
I'm also a SE fanboy (I have all their PSP releases) and I consider the best game they put out in the past few years was Crisis Core (Storywise though, because gameplay is too bland).
SE really REALLY needs to get their game on...

This looks more like a final fantasy game than FFXII.
And it looks like there is some emotions
and some variations of places and climate, Which FFXII lacked... Maby even a greater storyline.
I would like to think that SE will make some more "magic" games.
FF4,5,6,7,8,9 and X where all great! great!! great!!! games in my opinion.
