7 and 8 were great games but are truly overrated by numb nuts like you. I bet you go to anime conventions dressed up as Cloud.

That was squares heyday IMO.
I haven't been impressed much by anything square's done since FF8 and PE1.
I've heard a lot of good stuff about 6 though. I'm playing it right now, seems pretty good so far.

Wouldn't it make sense to finish adding PocketStation support to PS3?

with the classic still pulling figures like this, you would think that a remake would make finacial sence, not to mention alot of very happy fans...

...or it could turn out to be a disaster. Remember, Square's got to work with Uematsu who's no longer with the company. PLUS, a current gen translation can only spell disaster. Seriously...there's just too much at risk...besides, the next hardware upgrade is just around the corner... I'd wait for the next round of consoles with the implementation of 3D gaming before I do a remake.

Unless they seriously deluding themselves Squeenix knows they could never do a FFVII remake any kind of justice, so hopefully they don't just get greedy and make it.

I pray they dont. They would only blow it royally judging from crisis core, advent children, and pretty much everything they've done for the last 10 years.

a ff7 remake is definitely going to happen folks. This gen in particular. The thing I find hilarious is people expecting it to capture the magic of the original or that it'll ruin the original. I find this hard to believe considering the original can never be ruined if you played it when it came out like I did. No remake can truly capture the original magic, why people keep using these points against a remake is mindboggling. Fact is, when it happens this gen all you naysayers will still end up purchasing it with PSN trophies and seeing FF7 in PS3 HD graphics and rake in more millions than MW2. It's that big of a game.
