Square Enix is reminding everyone that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will be on sale in a matter of weeks. And just so you won't forget, they released a new video teaser, even giving us a sneak preview of some of the extended scenes.

I don't know about you but I was kinda cheesed out by the whole sepia-Western thing the video got going. Still, I'm pumped up for the release, so the vid did it's job.

I can't wait for the release of Advent Children Complete but that trailer was awful.

» Ummm..

I am not a FF fan. Is this a movie, series, game, or what? :3

» FF7

It's a movie sequel to the Final Fantasy 7 game. It's a great watch even if you haven't played the game though.

I hope they remaster the sound. Voice acting was bland and didn't mix right with the background.

» Just like SquEnix(+Edios)

Just repack the same old crap into a shiny new bag and charge full price for it all over again. The most insulting part is that there will be fanboys lined up around the block waiting for this.

» wow...

Ok... was it me or did that trailer just suck? Honestly, that narrator was hilarious. Almost as bad as the Dragonball trailer. Either way though, this crap trailer will not deter me from the movie. BRING IT ON!

» Nice..

dont get me wrong ill be getting it, because this will be my first copy of this movie (ever) but cmon now this is like what? the 5th version of this film? they had the normal dvd one, the "special edition" one, on UMD and now they have the blu-ray version coming out (which im sure will have a version of the limited edition blu-ray one not much longer after it..)

i personally am annoyed with companies that do that.. how much deleted and extras could possible be forgotten on the first release (i can understand the upgrade to the new media though) but like nighmare before christmas that movie is getting up there in age, they had a dvd version then a few months ago they released the special edition dvd set... and the blu-ray verson.. and they have the ultimate collectors edition.. where will it end?

» i think

that's why they refuse to remake ff7 in the first place.

still, that would also would be forcing the fans to pay for ff7 yet again.

and it would most likely kill the whole ff7-related business, as the remake would most certainly fail to live up to original ff7 (as it usually happens).

» Maybe you're right Yoshi

Ive often wondered why squenix holds off on remaking FF7. I always figured it was their ace in the hole, waiting on it till they really needed money.

» Hahaha

Very true. It'll become like Street Fighter soon. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Alpha MAX 2000 + 3rd Strike!

by RyanTL - 2009-02-25 12:42
» I'm not

that bothered about the film, I'm more interested in the FFXIII demo! (If it's ready in time)

As for a VII remake, they probably won't do it because they'll spend years developing it and by the time it's out the next generation of consoles will be in the shops!

» It will never end!

As long as the 'Ultimate Super-Duper' editions keep selling copies, companies will keep making them. Why sell a movie on DVD/Blu-ray once when you can sell it at full price 5 more times by holding back content!
