Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete - Image 1Typical of Square Enix to release details little by little.

The latest Famitsu has revealed that the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will come with an anime, starring the annoying little infected boy, Denzel.

The anime, titled "Final Fantasy VII: On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel," is from A-1 Pictures animations studios, and BeStack, and is part of a series of short stories.

The On the Way to a Smile series acts as a prequel to Advent Children, though it takes place after the events of Final Fantasy VII.

Episode: Denzel takes place in the ruins of Midgar, now the city of Edge. Here, Denzel tries to convince Reeve Tuesti, better known as the guy behind Cait Sith, to let him join the WRO (you'll know the group if you played Dirge of Cerberus).

No news on whether the anime will appear in the English version though.

Typical of SE to put an anime prequel to the movie on the ACC blu-ray movie. I just hope it comes to the states with the FF13 demo. :
