So. Any of you guys importing? Dude! It's Advent Children. And it's on Blu-ray! With new scenes! And damn, isn't the point of it all to bag yourself a copy of the FFXIII demo too?

But I think papajag was referring to the entire series, and not just Advent Children. Because while Square Enix expanded the story for the FF7 franchise with all these games and movies and manga, they had to add more characters.
Just off the top my head...
Dirge of Cerberus had Shalua, Crimson, Shelke, Azul, Nero, Weiss, Grimoire, etc.
Crisis Core had Angeal, Gillian, Genesis (previously seen in a cameo in Dirge also), Lazard, etc.
I still agree with you though. I don't think adding more characters and story ultimately made the entire series bad. I'm fine with it, really. But I can see why some people got turned off when Square Enix made the whole thing even more complicated with so much more stories and back stories. (Even up to now, I still can't quite wrap my head around the ENTIRE story and how everything connects) To each their own, I suppose.

it sucks if you have bought the dvd with original version. that's pretty much the same movie, with extra scenes.
makes you feel like you bought a "beta", unfinished version.
can i hope for a refund? :>
