FF XIII playable demo confirmed for 2007 |

And once again, we are compelled to profess our love for Square-Enix. First, they teased our taste buds with additional details of the latest installment to the Final Fantasy series, and now this.
And the reason for the early celebration? The folks from Square Enix have just confirmed in the latest issue of Dengeki that YES, a playable demo for Final Fantasy XIII will be available this year. According to them, they are "hoping to have a playable demo ready for E3 in 2007".
However, one has to remember that those who may attend the E3 will now only be limited to an elite circle of press people, studios, and retailers, so the general public may have to wait way until after the Tokyo Game Show 2007. That's a general downer, but then again, we won't let that rain on our little parade, now would we?

Final Fantasy (XII) !!!! surly this game must come to a close soon,Okay if they drop the Massive CGI sections and the boring talking first then fight in turn(make the game seem longer sections) then okay but come on,is this next gen stuff if the gameplay remains the same.

I am still playing XII and enjoy it. After seeing the trailers and pics of XIII, I can't wait to play it! I hope the demo is good and the full game is long. I always enjoy these games.

If S-E can do to the PS3's graphics what FFX did to the PS2's, I can't wait to see it. FFXIII will be one of the biggest selling points for the PS3, so Make or Break.
All you guys arguing on here are a bunch of immature geeks. Now about FFXIII, I like most ps3 owners cant wait 4 real games to start comming out in feb. every thing out now is close 2 crap. But if square can do what they did with FF8 it should be fantastastic. I think most of U will agree that its been a while since a FF game came along that compares to the storytelling mastery exhibited in FF8.

FF8 was alright, but still a great game. I hope S-E puts more effort in this than they did with 7 because FFvXIII and FFXIII could be their greatest FF if they can pull this off correctly.

Realease day places FF XIII in PS3 25 mins after the first CGI section and the a load of pointless chatter between characters the user actually picks up gamepad,
and look 4 dragons are in your way!okay team I will go first I fire my spell now I put joypad down and await my next turn and then eventually the Four dragons die now more pointless chatter and then walk for 2 mins then repeat last dragon type section again again and again.
once again 180 fans sayin somethin is cgi or cg well can i be the one out of the entire internet to correct all of you idiots if sony or square enix or any other company makes a cgi or cg film it was probably done on the ps3 itself and yes that is a good chance the ps3 unlike the 180 is equiped with the very thing that makes cgi and cg films in the first place you idiots you forgot there is a supercomputer inside of it plus an rsx and blueray now the ps3 could if the right developer cough cough (guerilla games) got their hands on the hardware that only the ps3 has they could make a movie ingame but this does require money these so called cg or cgi movies as you call it are really showcase of the true output of the machine if used in the way sony truelly built it but you'll see unbelievers just wait till a developer is willing to sacrifice in the way that guerilla games is and you'll see why the 360 is really a 180 and 360 won't be around until 2010 or 2011. thanks for your time
