F.E.A.R. these PS3 screens |

Kinda long since we've seen the PS3 F.E.A.R.blip on our radar screens. So these screens from Game Informer are a fresh spring breath. Game Informer didn't have a latest updated release date for the game (at least one we could find from searching), but IGN and GameSpot did: March 13. But recent experience taught us that the only thing to fear is not F.E.A.R. itself, but a release date, since they can suddenly and without warning change to accommodate additional dev time, marketing efforts, or God knows what.
But March 13 it might be, nonetheless. And at least the presence of new screens means that there is dev work by Day 1 Studios going on. And here they are: a fistful of F.E.A.R.some screens.

the character models are much more detailed in the PC version... OK, i was only able to play it @ 15FPS with max detail on my old radeon 9700... but damn... it looked FAR better than that!
Hope they get this game as good as they did on the 360. Haven't played it on it but the reviews looked good, from my stand point the graphics aren't up to par with the 360 screens though.
The 360 and the PC have basicly the same archetecture. The ps3 however is not simply a port over friendly console. They will require to write their own scripts to match the cell processor.
The cell is not like the PC the 360 however is based on powerPC, so porting would still optimize the console's power. porting games to the ps3 would make the games look its graphical abilities, becuase the hardware is not used properly.
Ahhh..the game really isn't that great a game. The end is such a letdown and overall it's pretty repitive.

Well no no dual release game for the PS3 has been as good as the 360 graphics so I do not think this will change the 360 defiantly has more grunt in the graphics department.
LOL the cell !!!,Look at those pictures looks more like a low end PC running at 800 by 600.
They properly had framerate problems on the PS3 version(Hench the lower looking resolution) just like they did with the PS3 Call of duty 3 it just couldnt run as smooth as the 360 version.
the beat goes on, right folks? stop being such *****s fighting about video consoles...i am/was (a bit confused at the moment) a sony fan but i do have the 360 and the wii...which one is better? i don't know and i don't care...i like both of them and when ps3 launches in europe i'll buy it for sure...does it make a difference if u come here and say: "u *****in ps3/360 lovers...ur gaming console suck! ahahah...it looks like my old spectrum...". damn it, grow up :|
If no one posted their opinions on what they think of this game then the post would die that is why it is here to be discussed.
And my opinion this game looks the weakest in graphics compared to the PC and 360 versions, that is if the above screenshots are from the final PS3 version.
gaze, I'm not saying that it shouldn't be discussed, I am saying that it makes me laugh people that come here only to say "my 360/wii is better than your ps3 bcuz ps3 sucks"! like the 1st post in here p example...im not saying people are not right about the game, what i am trying to say is that they look *****in *****s sayin such things about consoles...if I asked half of the people that come here why they think 360/ps3/wii is better they wouldn't know how to answer bcuz they're only fanboys who like to act like a bunch of kids laughing at each other's consoles... |+
