Fatal Inertia EX to be released next week exclusively on PSN |

A little over a month ago, we received news that Koei's futuristic races, Fatal Inertia EX, will be arriving as an exclusive title for the PlayStation Store. We were told then that it will be made available by the end of May. Well, May has indeed come and gone, but the title is nowhere in our midst.
Not to worry, though, folks, cos Koei has now issued a press release stating that the game has finally reached gold status and will most certainly be coming to the Store on June 19, 2008. That's only a few days from now, so you won't have to wait much longer.
Apart from that, a free demo of the game that includes an online multiplayer mode will also be made available on the same day for your enjoyment. If you have yet to get your copies of Metal Gear Solid 4 by then, or if you've finished the game already (no doubt you won't be able to put it down), then this might be a good alternative.

The worst racing game I've ever played. Quantum Redshift was better.
A racing fan of any substance will stay away from this steaming pile. This game doesn't even compare to Wipeout Fusion on the PS2. What makes you think Wipeout HD's devs have any reason to be concerned.
I did hear that they improved the gameplay since the 360 version and the latest trailer they released looked interesting imo. Hey, at least they give us a free demo! Trying before you buy is always good. ; )
I agree that demos are GREAT things. Try before you buy.
Let me expand further on my previous comment.
This is a racing game, more specifically a futuristic FLYING racing game. It is in fact, competition for Wipeout HD.
I never said it was GOOD competition.
There are TONS OF PEOPLE that don't even know what Wipeout is. Imagine them buying this game, getting sick of it easily then imagine their logic in whether they should buy Wipeout HD or not.....
I didn't say this would persuade those that KNOW to not buy Wipeout HD but it will in "some factor" take away from Wipeout HD sales.
Will it hurt their bottom line? I doubt it. But I'm not a "make up BS" analyst so....
