Far Cry 2: looking into Sixaxis motion, simultaneous release on formats - Image 1Patrick Redding, the Game and Narrative Designer of Ubisoft Montreal's Far Cry 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), was able to speak about the things they were brewing up. Redding revealed that they were looking at Sixaxis motion and a simultaneous release for the game.

As for the Sixaxis motion tidbit, he said that they were looking to their game testers so that they could evaluate the viability of it. This was a response he made when asked if there would be a DualShock 3 rumble support.

For those itching to grab a copy of the game, Redding said that they will have a simultaneous release on all formats. In a few weeks' time, a date may be formally announced.

In addition to these tasty bits of information, Redding said that the their systems for future DLC is already in place. Currently a form of expansion is being planned for the game. Based on this expansion, it could either be released on separate discs or as a DLC.

Until then, keep coming to QJ for more news on this FPS game.

» I hope they won't put sixaxis motion control

I dislike those things. At least we can always put them off, lol.

Anyway, the game will rock, I'll have it on PC since I wanna use a mouse to aim! (and the mouse and keyboard blutooth for ps3 is 50$).

I hope it's gonna blast!
