Famitsu scan reveals new character El Fuerte for Capcom's Street Fighter 4

It seems that most fighting games that involve bare-handed combat have at least one "Lucha libre"-type of wrestler. After all, the King of Fighters series has Ramon, and the Virtua Fighter series has El Blaze.

Capcom's Street Fighter 4, on the other hand, seems to have El Fuerte. Incidentally, El Fuerte shares a similar physique with the other male characters of Street Fighter 4: the seemingly steroid-enhanced muscular arms and legs.

Of course, a possible luchador (assuming that he is one) such as himself wouldn't be complete without a mask to conceal his true identity. Admittedly, not much is currently known about El Fuerte; so much so that he seems to have been relegated to the lower right corner of the Famitsu scan pictured below.

Nevertheless, we expect that Capcom will be releasing more information regarding this new character as development on Street Fighter 4 progresses.

What I'd like to see is a grown up version of Sakura Kasugano. :)
