Famitsu reveals new Yakuza game, new RPG for PS3 |

One is a new entry in the Ryu ga Gotoku series, known as Yakuza outside Japan. The Famitsu piece doesn't have any screenshots of the game, but according to translations from NeoGAF it says that this game isn't Ryu ga Gotoku 4. Nor is it a follow-up to the spin-off title, Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan!.
The other game is Trinity Universe from Gust, Nippon Ichi Software, and Idea Factory. It looks like another crossover RPG similar to Cross Edge. Is this the new game that NIS America is announcing tomorrow? Well, I hope so, because I think the battle graphics look nice. Plus I really can't get enough of Etna. Trinity Universe currently has an August release date in Japan.
There's still hope for the NIS title but sadly, I don't really expect the new Ryu ga Gotoku game to get a release outside Japan unless Sega finally decides to release Yakuza 3 first.
Thanks to Wii @ Everyday for the scans!

the japanese game companies will be bring their own characters to the game, obviously one of the team is the maker (nippon ichi?) of disgaea hence the prinny and etna.
this game idea is similar to namcoxcapcom (PS2-J) or cross (X) edge (PS3) where two or more companies includes their own characters in an RPG.
Trinity Universe (PS3/PSN) will be the title in japan, if they port this to other territories the title may remain or be changed.

and i also hope in the future that most ps3 games be like bio hazard 5 / resident evil 5 which turn itself to whatever language your ps3 is set to. i have a japanese ps3 but i have set my account to english, then pop in bio hazard 5 and presto im playing re5 in full english, BILINGUAL games are the best. and FU to all english games that didnt retain their english texts contents when they are ported to japan, no purchase for those stupid companies titles, the bluray is 25-50gb for crying out loud, dont remove english, just add japanese.
