Famitsu lists new Gundam game for PS3 |

It seems that a new Gundam game will be making its way to the PS3 sometime next year. The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine "Famitsu" included a release list of titles for the PS3, and among those listed was a game called Gundam Musou from Bandai Namco Games. The title carried a TBA 2007 date.Now, most gamers can equate the "Musou" name with Koei's Dynasty Warriors series, which is known in Japan as Shin SangokuMusou (according to IGN, both the Musou in Gundam Musou and the one used in Dynasty Warriors have the same two kanji characters). Does this mean that the next Gundam game will be more of a hack-and-slash (or maybe hack-and-shoot is more appropriate) actioner ala Dynasty Warriors?

Unless it's done by a different devlopment team and with a totally different idea to it I certainly hope I don't have to see it.
