Japanese magazine Famitsu has given out its verdict for Platinum Games' Bayonetta, and what do you know, it got a perfect score of 40/40. Here's the thing, though. Not only did it get a perfect 40, it also got a 38.

See, the perfect 40 was given for the Xbox 360 version, which, as we've been frequently hearing as of late, is absolutely flawless. Meanwhile, the 38/40 score was given to the PS3 version. Now, now. 38 is still a damn good score, so that's definitely no reason for shame. Still, it does speak a lot of the difference in the way each versions were handled.

Bayonetta makes it the first multi-platform game to be given the perfect score by Famitsu, as well as setting a record number of perfect 40 scores awarded in one year. It's exciting to see how Final Fantasy XIII will fare in the records game once it gets released.

Congrats to the Bayonetta team!

Don't care at all for the game, because any game that stars some slutty anime female-lead will get good scores, but I just wanna know what exactly was the problem.

I guess I'll get it for the 360. Man January to March are going to be one of the best months in gaming.

What about BulletWitch or Onechanbara?

I bet if PS3 scores better than the 360 you would care for the game now would ya?

I don't buy games based off of review scores, unless it's Giant Bomb or Yahtzee, because those guys rock.

And go get some sense before you reply to me again. I made it pretty clear I don't care about the game, anime kid. All I wanna know is why the PS3 version got two points docked off.

YOU should get some sense before you post something like " any game that stars some slutty anime female-lead will get good scores"

I'm just pointing out that BulletWitch and Onechanbara goes into that category but they got low scores.

Im sure it suffered frame-rate issues. That is what i heard was the problem with it during that german game convention.... what was that called?

That's not even irony. Stop trying to look e-cool by using words in the wrong context.

Those were games? No, they weren't. They were just crappy fanservice for Japanophiles like yourself.

E-cool isn't even a word kid. And yes,

Those are games, look in the dictionary and go to G and find "games" then you'll know what the definition is.

And you know what? I'm not gonna argue to some ignorant kid anymore. It's just a waste of time.

I downloaded the game from my japanese accounta and let me say this: it's absolutely perfect just like the creator did with the original DMC which also rock and to be honest it doesn't matter why the PS3 was rated 2 points down. THE GAME OWNS!!!!! That's the important. If you have a 360 japanese account download it really you won't regret i dunno if you can make a PS3 japanese account from this side of the world(might try) but really give the opportunity to this game.

Going by your logic, e-mail isn't a word either, but you're just in e-denial since you had no other cop-out ready for me so you just tried to ninja your way out and pretend you didn't lose the argument.

No, those aren't games at all. They're less of a game than some interactive DVD game or something. They're just fanservice for you anime kids who have giant wall scrolls of Naruto characters on your walls that you worship every day and night.

And keep trying to type like me. It's just proof that you're e-intimidated and e-jealous of me, and that deep down inside you wish you could be me. It's pretty sad, but it's not like it's the first time this has happened.

I already played DMC... all I can say is I'll pass on this one. The Gimmick of (hot) Girls and Guns doesn't pass as a sufficient Substitute for Substance, Depth and Storyline. I played the Demo myself, and I have to say I felt embarassed and ashamed while playing it.

The looked blurry and washed out cause as they were testing on another TV or location. It wasn't set up. Just set the RGB thing to FULL. And the white washout thing is gone. It doesn't blur. It's perfect. I hate when people who review games don't really know what they are doing.

2 score the xbox version 2 points higher than the PS3 version unless i get an official explanation because at the present moment this is the only reasonable excuse 2 explain the scoring
