Mothership Zeta DLC Fallout 3 - Image 1A few more things you need to know about Mothership Zeta when she sets sail for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3: it is "full of the most high tech weaponry in the game." Really, Jeff Gardiner of Bethesda said so himself (game also on PS3) .

It includes a Shock Baton for melee fighters, multiple new firearms including an Alien Atomizer, a pistol, and the Alien Disintegrator, a new rifle. There's also a new grenade type, a Cryo Grenade, which freezes enemies for a short period of time. On top of that there are new unique weapons, and a new heavy weapon.

Wow, talk about variety. But on top of all that, there will also be a new unlockable perk, one that he calls the "Xenotech Expert." Basically, what it does is to "increase[s] the damage you do with alien weapons, including the Alien Blaster if they player had found that in the wasteland."

However, as Gardiner mentioned in a recent interview regarding the game's level caps, there won't be one happening in this DLC, so the Xenotech Expert perk will definitely be mission-specific.

You will, however be able to return to the alien ship as soon as you finish the Mothership main quest. You'd certainly want to go back because it houses "Alien Epoxy." And you would want to get that from the alien ship because this epoxy automatically repairs an item by 25%, even without duplication.

Actually sounds interesting. They need to add some uber hard enemies though, cause the character is way too powerful as it is.

» yep lol

I have to play on very hard to keep it interesting, otherwise nothing can touch my level 30 char. And even at that I can never really die thanks to my 700+ stimpaks and thousands of rounds for every weapon. It's still fun to play tho
