Fail: Xbox 360 Need for Speed Shift crashes...into PlayStation Store |

While checking out menus while connected to Xbox Live, FreakBits blogger, enigmax, experienced a sudden crash. "When my rage had subsided and I got a better look at the screen, I was pretty shocked at what I saw," he wrote. And what he saw is this:
"EAÂ’s new Need for Speed Shift is the most bug-ridden piece of code I have witnessed in recent times," he wrote. "But when the Xbox 360 version seemed to want to access the Playstation Store today, things had clearly gone too far." enigmax had at least a dozen crashes on the game at least a dozen times before this one, hence the frustration.
Judging by "Multi-line dialog text," it seems like the code wasn't finished, and I'm partial to thinking that the code was actually written for the PS3 first, then came the incomplete transition to XBL - that's my theory at least. What the PlayStation Store is doing on an Xbox 360 is a story I'd like to hear, and I'm sure you would too.
Until or if the parties responsible actually comment on this fiasco, we might get a bigger picture of what happened. Hopefully, we won't get the usual "We currently don't have plans of accessing the PlayStation Store" reply. Stay tuned.

I'd really like to see that happen to my 360! "We currently don't have plans of accessing the PlayStation Store." That's exactly what they're gonna say, trust me! Or not.
i would have never expected that.. maybe the ps3 showing xbox marketplace.. but not the other way around.. haha
Noun 1. delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are....
So many fanboys that bought this game probably got a heart attack. Now we know MS isn't buying EA.
Had this crash on PS3, didn't expect to see it on 360 though. Then again, not exactly the only bug in the game.

In the Alone in the Dark PS3 manual, one of the buttons is displayed as the Xbox 360's Back button.

I swear man, one of these days they will end up putting blu ray discs inside the xbox 360 cases lol.
so much bugs (worst one is the corvette bug) and there isnt still an update. shame on u , EA (and the guys who made this nice game)
