Today Sega released a whole new batch of screens for the upcoming next-gen release of Sonic The Hedgehog for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. If you check out the screenshots it looks like they included new details inside without announcing anything such as the return of Shadow in hi-def glory. There is also one screen in particular where Shadow is being carried by a Bald Eagle which is very reminiscent to Mario 64's owl.
Also the screens showcase that the "Sonic Grind" that came from the Sonic Adventure games is in full force with the Blue Blur speeding through a random forest. The game is scheduled to be released on November 17th for both system so until then, go ahead and check out the new screenshots by clicking on the thumbnails below.

firstly, Wii outputs at 852x480, normally, digital devices connected to tv's output at 720x480(ntsc) or 720x576(pal) and if its widescreen the picture is sent narrow & squashed up, which is then stretched across your tv screen... thos screens are in 5128x2283, and on ps3 and 360 the game will be outputted at 1280x720... and if your lucky and the ps3 ver is in 1080p (seriously doubt it) then 1920x1080, and if it was in 600x400 (which nothing outputs at) it most certainly wouldnt be 4 times better graphics
